These are ongoing. We helped the County get a much higher reward and saved the taxpayers a lot of money from these efforts.
The previous lab schemes being run within the Hospital had multiple ongoing investigations that BradenHealth has worked with the county to report any evidence of fraud, waste, and abuse to the proper Agency.
BradenHealth re-filed cost reports, and other regulatory reports to aid the county in returning to compliance with all laws and regulations.
Prior to BradenHealth ownership, the facility sat vacant and flooded due to a pipe bursting within the building. It wasn't until a few days later that this was discovered due to water seeping out the front door and flowing across the main road. We have taken all of the flooring out and cut back walls and floorboards to air out the facility.
We are working with MSB Construction to ensure that the facility is rebuilt to the highest standards. We will gut the hospital to ensure there are no bacterial issues within the framework, rebuild the structure as needed and update with modern furniture, fixtures, and State of the Art Hospital equipment.
Once the hospital has been rebuilt & updated we will work with the division of facilities to issue a Hospital license.
We will recruit local residents of Decatur County and the surrounding area to care for their neighbors through job fairs and networking. We will have jobs in administration, customer service, accounting, supply chain, pharmacy, radiology, laboratory, nursing, medical assistants, physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and more.
We contract with every insurance carrier so that we can serve all health insurance subscribers.
Upon readiness, we will hold a Dedication Ceremony to reopen the facility and begin to care for the Community of Decatur County.
